As usual, I was searching different distributors web sites looking for anything new, on sale, hard to find(pistol powder), or unusual. It seems Talo has commissioned Ruger to make some 10-22's with a M1 Carbine style stock. Hopefully it will have the winged front sight found on the anniversary models and a peep sight as well. I couldn't find any photos and it is NOT listed on the Ruger website. Two models are listed; #21102 with a 10 rd. magazine and #21138 with a 15 round magazine(as used on the Charger). It'll be interesting to see if they incorporate the oiler cutout and side front swivel. As a fan of military rifles, I was showing one of my friends my 2nd anniversary 10-22 , when I interjected it's sights are very similar to the M1. M14, and the M1 Carbine. I went on to suggest that by using the appropriate magazine one could replicate the firepower of the M1 with the 10 rd mag, the Carbine with the 15 rd mag, and the M14 with the 25 rd mag when used as a sub caliber trainer. Some fun shooting that we all used to do. BTW I was able to buy 6 325rd. boxes of Federal ammo at Wal-Mart Sunday, amazing!! Bob!!
