Improved D/A Ruger...........

I've seen two of these "Cougars" in the past year at the Mansfield show, but no where near as nice as yours!!
Nice snag!
A Python that will not need timed as often, :), was how one guy described his, he was asking $2,000.00 for his.

yes, the "Couger" (sic) has been around for some time, back in the days when all these barrels and parts were readily available, AND cheap, our shop did some in 4 inch ,6 inch and cut down 8 inch barrel to make two 3 inchers, BUT we never nickled them, this is all "class" all of ours were 'blued" and a couple were Metalifed SS (looked like stainless) did them on S&W's too..........this one belonged to and was done for one of the former cops who used to shoot with Bill Davis back in the day..........curious as to what it would be worth as we too had heard about the one from the Mansfield shows, some years back...imagine what a nickel 6 inch Python barrel would cost !!! let alone the cost of a "proper nickel plating" job.........

Well I don't know what a "COUGER" goes for BUT I can tell you what a nickel PYTHON does

TOO MUCH    RR.

Thanks Ron, ,and this one is much nicer to boot....................

the pictures do NOT do it 'justice'......

and Radical, there was a Colt 6 in Python, no box, Pachmayr grips, alas, and it was $1400 , it too was in nickel, we had these two side by side and what a picture....!!!

Radical , no Sir, it did NOT look that good, let alone have the proper grips,BUT these days, I thought it was well worth what the guy was asking and I wasn't buying...I noticed all three of the so called "Colt" guys 'passed' on it also...........and it was NOT that bad, I know I could have given it a little 'TLC' and made her whole again

Besides, if I am going to get Pythons, I get them like this......................
