I have two custom OM's in .44 Special. Both started as .357 Magnums. I have another one that was converted up from .357 to .41 Magnum. It would be one of those three... probably the .44 Special that has the OM Bisley custom hammer and rounded grip frame. The case-hardening is beautiful, sights are very nice, it's the gun I usually carry if I'm feeling like open carry in town.

This is my close second revolver -- 5 1/2-inch .45 Colt Bisley.

Sentimentally it would be my first Ruger bought new in 1959 - this Single Six:

Practically speaking, it would have to be my New Vaquero .357 made in February of this year:

I guess that it would have to be my Old Model 45 Convertible with the 7.5 inch barrel. Just way to much fun. And my light weight comes in at a real close 2nd.

Tough choice, but I think my Stainless Bisley Super Blackhawk Hunter in .44 magnum. Very accurate right from the start, beautiful hand gun. Great claiber.

This little Alfa Cat could keep me happy and a surprisingly good shooter at that.

Geez...if ammunition availability is no problem (I load my own, and cast my own bullets), then it's got to be my 4-5/8" bbl'd SS Flat Top .44 Special.

Here's the why: SS construction makes it nearly indestructible, .44 Special makes it versatile enough for any use appropriate for a handgun in the lower 48 with proper handloading, enough weight to handle any load up to max, Keith types, great sights, accurate to less than 2" at 25 yds, and it's arguably the prettiest piece of ordnance I've owned from Ruger....Rod

That said, you can't be stuck with just one.... Need a .44Spec, .357, and a .22 ... at least :) . Oh, and a reloadable .22, the .32 H&R Mag :D for when .22LR is unobtainable.

Well I had a Single Six back in 1979 .22/.22mag with a 6 1/2" barrel in blue. I picked that gun up used a the time it was like new cost was $125 I had no choice I had to get it and kenw I would have even liked it better with a shorter barrel.. But still I loved that gun but only had it for a few years. Sold it off for a CCG in 1982-3. At the time $$$$ were short and I had to trade it away.. Late last year I wanted, felt the need to get back into S/A Rugers. I had see a Lipsey's .44mag in SS and it was a shorty 3 3/4" barrel.. Got it and just love that gun.. Early this year I had seen a new Lipsey's Single Six In SS in .22lr/.22mag with a 4 5/8" barrel got that and love it in every way.. I think I would have to go with the Lipsey's Single Six in 4 5/8's SS if it be just one S/A Ruger..George

As long as reloading components are available, it would be my new Single Seven in .327 mag. If not, 2nd choice is my Single Six 22/22mag. in matte stainless w/ 4 5/8" barrel. Either one will do anything I need or want from a single action.

My choice would be my Stainless Blackhawk .357 & 9mm Convertible with a 4 5/8" barrel. For some reason I can shoot that gun better then all my other revolvers and it is so pretty. The gun feels great in the hand and did I mention that is looks so pretty?
