There is a how to online that is on polishing a SP101. It would be the same process. It would take lots of time to type it all out and the one online is very well done.
Google high polished Ruger SP 101.

Buy some Mothers Mag Polish.
Find a Terry cloth rag / towell.
Put a good movie in the Bluray.
Double check your revolver is unloaded.
Apply Mothers to rag, and start rubbing.

I have polished a couple stainless guns and I used a Dremel and yellow polishing wheel compound. After the compound I finish it off by buffing with an old cotton tee shirt. Take your time and it will turn out fine.

this is it, the way to go, time and effort, you pick the movie or ball game or watch the grass grow, while you are rubbing....all I can add is to finish it up using a Microfiber clothe and it will look like nickel,,,,,,please stay away from
power equipment or tools unless YOU know how to use them.........
