I was in Salida Colorado taking Molly to her doctor there. Went into Salida Gunshop on Hwy 50. Best stocked reloading supply selection I have seen anywhere. He had more powder of every flavor than the Kansas City Bass Pro, Cabelas and three or four of the better gunshops combined.
I picked up some Varget and 55gr .243 bullets.
Nice gunshop, they had a bunch of .22LR, every flavor too.

Used to run a 50' trailer through there every Wednesday in the early '70's. Headed up to the Molybdenum mines. Nice place. Good news on the powder score. 8)

I've been wanting to go to Salida. It only takes 18-20 HOURS. Is that the place somewhere around Murdocks farm store?
well, it seems i blew a little nose bubble on that one...

Last weekend I saw my 1st 8# jug of Unique since I bought my last one several years ago for $110 + tax. The one at the gun show? $212 + tax. I passed...

Glad you hit the mother load, Don! :)

Wow Don, 55gr .243? Isn't that a tad bit light?
