HK P7 M8

I have a Heckler and Koch P7 M8 9mm that I'm contemplating selling. I've checked all the online sources and the prices are all over the place. They seem to start around $1200 and go up to $2000. I know there's probably not a lot of HK people here but thought I would ask if anyone has purchased one of these recently. I'm looking for a fair price for both myself and the buyer. I bought the gun a a local gun store where they had purchased it from an estate sale. I do not believe it has ever been fired except at the factory and it is LNIB. I have the original box and everything that came with it new. I've never even disassembled it. Safe queen the entire time I've owned it. I will also be including a brand new Kramer Horsehide right hand paddle holster with it. Any ideas or experience with this type weapon would be appreciated.

Hope this isn't considered "hijacking your post", but that was my duty sidearm in the 1980's, when we made the transition from revolvers.
Everyone in my P.D. absolutely loved them! We were amazed by their accuracy, all of our qualifying scores went way up. Totally reliable, and compact enough for off duty/concealed carry.
It was also chosen by the N.J. State Police, when they switched from revlovers.
Expensive, but worth it!

If you are looking for pricing information...this is not the correct thread, this thread is for Selling and requires an asking price and your location...eventually this is going to be removed. I suggest you start a new thread in the semi-auto pistol or collecting areas or request the moderators move this thread for you.

Good luck either way...BTW, these seems to sell in the $800-1200 range in my area....there have been two in my LGS for a year or so that have NOT sold due to the dealer asking too much for them...He has a ANIBhe is akding $1400.00 for that needs to be dusted off :lol: :lol:

Depends on year of manufacture and import markings. You should be asking these questions over on The Cult. And that's probably the best place to sell it as well.

I have two. Bought them both off the Cult website.

I appreciate the advice as to the correct thread for my question. I have also asked Flatgate to review it. I also asked him to delete the post if I have asked in the wrong subject area or it is in violation of any forum rules. That was not my intent. As to the accusation that I'm fishing for a high bidder, that is incorrect. I haven't even made the decision to sale at this point. I was hoping some of the members would have some input on it's value.
