HELP Ruger Precision Rifle .22

Alrighty, so I'd gotten my new .22 precision in from Ruger a while back, cleaned it best I could to get all the factory gunk off of it. My problem is that I want to remove the forearm hand guard and the directions, unfortunately, show an entirely different take down. I'm thinkin they just copied the dang 308 precision and sent it out. Any help appreciated. If pics are needed, I'll do it.

Pics would help a lot but from looking at the stock photo on Ruger's website it appears to be chassis system over a Ruger American bolt action and there does not appear to be any take down screws for the forearm unless they are on the bottom. That is all I can tell from the pic though.
