Happy 65

Went to my parents house to celebrate my 65th (29 March) and was I surprised. My dad says they're not getting any younger (91 and 87) so they both thought I would like a birthday gift.

Model 39a marlin golden Mountie I've had my eye on for 50+ years. Maybe 100 rounds down the tube.

SWEET! Happy Birthday . I’ll turn 65 next month. Can’t believe I’m going to make it. Always thought, live hard, die young and leave a good looking corpse.

Well I turned 70 back in December and almost didn't make 35. Survived two motorcycle accidents and getting blown up by a peaceful Muslim suicide bomber at the American Embassy Annex in Beirut September 1984 along with 3 fellow Seabees.

I have one of those, got it for Christmas in 1970. Great little rifle, congrats. I'll be 65 September of this year myself.
