Small show in Afton, WY late this afternoon and over the weekend. I finally got to see one of the new Flattop .44 Specials! They look great except for the "cheese grater" grips but I know there are solutions right here on the Forum for that minor problem.
Saw a U.S. Arms Abilene in .44 mag. I've not seen one of those in quite a while. I also saw a quite nice SSM9 .32 mag. Single-Six. Fortunately one of those is already in the safe or I would have had to haggle over the $495 price tag. There were several brand spankin' new Super Blackhawks on tables and they were sporting nice looking wood grips! I was happy to see them!
The oddest gun for sale was a very short lived model from Wyoming Arms, their Parker model "1911 Clone" with a conversion kit to 10 mm. I've not heard much good about the guns and the company didn't last very long so, in hindsight, the gun is probably a good investment. I did NOT see a price tag, however.
I did visit with a bullet caster and inquired about "heavy bullets" for .41's, .44's and .45's since all he had were CAS types. He was receptive to my needs and may just "cough up" some decent bullets for 100 yard plus shooting. :D
