I had a business trip to Denver last week. I arrived early Sunday and took a little road trip to Greeley and had the pleasure of meeting Patrick Grashorn and his wife. The purpose of the meeting was to pick up a pair of sheephorn grips that I had ordered for my Bowen Nimrod 44, but the real treat for me was to visit with them and hear of their recent hunting trip to Africa. He shared some wonderful pictures and stories of the trophies that he and his wife took during their hunt. I have never really had an interest in hunting in Africa, but hearing of his experience and seeing the pictures of their trip has really got me thinking that I need to give it serious consideration.

Anyway, here's a few pics of the sheephorn grips on my Nimrod. I had sent Patrick the gripframe for fitting and it is exceptional. He is a true artist and a super nice guy to boot. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Not only do I love the sheephorn, the case coloring is fantastic, and I love the barrel. I still need to have a revolver made up with a barrel like that some day.

Everything about that gun is fantastic.

Yeah, that is one of the best looking Bisley's I think I've ever seen.

Those grips--amazing! And what a perfect look for that gun! Wow!

Well thanks for posting that picture!!! It cost me a few hundred buck. Sent off to get on the list for a set of those for one of my guns.
