I received a GP100 in 44 Special from a forum member in trade.
Before I tell the rest of the story - the deal is good, and Ruger sent a shipping tag on their dime and is replacing the firearm at no cost.
Upon examination, the forcing cone was swaged out.
I tried to get pictures that showed the issue, the one below is the best I could get.
You can see the angle it is bent out to.
It was swaged out enough to hit the top strap and the gas ring.
Per the PO, it had only been shot with a few hundred rounds of 180 gr JHP's, and shot well.
Just wanted people to be aware and check your GP's.
