Good price on a No. 1??

I was at a local dealer today and they had a No. 1V .204 in stainless/laminate for 799.99

Not really up on No. 1's, so I was just wondering if this was a good price. I love the other .204 I have (77/VT) and this No. 1 was sure nice looking. So what do you guys think? Thanks

I did see that one also BlkHawk. I like the heavy barrel of the 1V better. I also like the stainless with the laminate stock. I thought I had heard at one time that they didn't make to many 204's in the stainless laminate. Anybody know if this is the case?

The 204 was only offered as a "V" in stainless/laminate. It also along with the 220 Swift is the only "V" with a 26" barrel. It has since been discontinued. No idea on the total production of 204 "V"s.

The only "V"s currently cataloged are the 223, 22-250 and the 25-06 all in blued/walnut.

Given that I think the 204 "V" is and will be an uncommon rifle.

Prices are very individual. I owned a couple of 204 #1s before the "V" as I'm not all that fond of the staiinless/laminate. I finally bought one off GB for $500 just because it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Now that I own it, I like it. THe $799 may be a BIT high but certainly not totally out of line.

I just looked at my downloaded CDNN catalog and the list the 1B in .204 for $699. Am I missing something?

Anybody seen the sale at CDNN, expires 2pm 3/13. 204 Ruger in a #1B I think, great price, thinking about one myself.

Yes not the catalog price, they have an email list that they send out special sales on that are not in the catalog.
