Going to buy a new 77/17 in 17WSM. Just not sure which..

So which one should I buy. The 18.50" bull barrel or the 24"? How much Muzzle velocity will I lose with the shorter gun?

if it was mine I would get the 18.5 just because I like shorter barrels as for velocity loss I don’t think it amounts to much of anything.

I ended up buying the 18.5" Its a sweet little rifle.
