If you have a twin pair of Blackhawks identical in all respects except one is a NM and one is an OM. What is the generally accepted value difference?

In my experience about $150 all things being equal unless it is something rare or unusual (low serial # etcetera )

to me, this gap is closing, as any of the NEW, New models the suggested retail prices and the prices one sees in most gun shops the 'retail' is approaching ,"book" prices...................and the "old models. have GOT to be mint, as can be, and like new in the boxes to get "collectors" prices, LOTS and LOTS of old models out there for prices at , and LOWER, than 'new' New model pricing.............must pay attention to the % values, of original condition gun in the Blue Book of values 8) :roll: :wink:
For many of us, this boils down to the "gotta have it" factor, or as Dan occasionally puts it, the "pucker" factor.
This would be reflected in the current case by someone being very willing to pay the same for the Old Model as for the New Model . . . perhaps more, depending on the particular version in question.
In many cases, the premium for the Old Model can be huge, as there are some very scarce versions out there, and as we all know "they ain't making those any more".
Keeps things interesting.
