I was a fan. Loved the Larry Sanders Show. Sad to see him go.
He and Jerry Seinfeld were good friends. Jerry did an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Gary not too long ago. Worth looking up if you are a fan.

It took a while to warm up to Shandling's self-deprecating sense of humor, but when it happened I started to enjoy him more and more. RIP, Garry.
