I purchased this revolver from another forum member/collector last year. I've decided to let it go to fund a project I have going.
Beautiful (95-98%) Super Blackhawk serial 24827, shipped in 1966. This is the scarce variation in which about 600 barrels were cut to 6.5" rather than 7.5" by mistake. It has it's original box showing the S47 catalog number marked over with black marker.
Included with the sale is the letter from Ruger identifying it as an S47 with 6.5" barrel.
This is a complete package....a very tough to find package.
$1,550 Shipped with insurance to the lower Con US (Ex. CA) from FFL to FFL.
I'll try to take and post pictures tonight.
First "I'll Take it" followed by a PM will own it.
