I bought this and then changed my mind. It was mounted on a rifle for about five minutes. Made of machined aluminum. It is hollow with a watertight compartment inside. You can shorten the length by removing part of it--makes it about 2/3 as long as you see. Made in USA. Email me at [email protected] if you would like to buy this item.
