Gently used, 75-80 rounds. A very few minor dings from ear protectors on the cheek area, metal looks nearly perfect. Decent figure in the buttstock. Original box and all that came in it. Medium rings.
I don't need to tell you these are discontinued. Asking $775 shipped to your FFL.

Yep. They were made as trainers for people going on Safari that wanted to practice using inexpensive ammunition, and get used to the weight of the gun and the way the action works.

Congrats JFB. You got a great, and hard to come by rifle with pretty nice wood. I absolutely love mine. It's a shooter, and the same finish as this one. Some had a matte finish.

I have wanted one BEFORE it came out. I just like the idea of a classic, express sight, plinking rifle . I would actual preferedd one chamber in RF (i have a 7722), but I can reload to my liking though. I quick search for bullets today was disappointing though. the speciality bullet makers have seem to stop making round nose solids?
 
Not sure cus I just bought bullets and ammo for mine suitable for wacking coyotes and bobcats.
