Very interesting offering.

To the best of my knowledge and available research there were no 5-1/2" Old Model .41 Mag Blackhawks from the factory. That fact and the inclusion of the Bowen sight imply some custom work.

Beautiful plum coloration on the frame.

I thought 4 & 5/8ths and 6 & 1/2 were only factory barrel length besides the 7.5 Bisleys from the eighties.....

I added the Bowen sight I bought it from another party but as far as I can tell this is factory the front sight crown and blueing look the same as my 3 screw .357's

I was fooled I searched and I cannot find a rugged reference for a 5-1/2 41 mag. It must be modified, who ever did it did a very good job.

Yeah, I looked for a 5-1/2" barrel version in the New Models and didn't find one, either, Was thinking maybe someone simply swapped barrels, but it appears as if this one has been shortened.

Still an interesting Old Model, even with the "enhancement".
