The mounts are new and in the package the rings are used. They fit the 5.5 inch barrel or larger. They use the rear sight screw and clamp on the barrel. I used a similar mount for over 20 years with no damage to the barrel. The rings are weaver style as are needed with the mounts. The mounts sell for $45 alone you can have both for $40 OBO shipped to the lower 48 states.
