Knife Rescue. This cute little blade needs a good home.
3 knives for sale from Connecticut.
Fallkniven WM1. VG10 steel. This is a user. In great shape overall, 'cept I decided that I'd reprofile the convex edge on my Sharpmaker. Yeah, I know. At least it wasn't a Tri Kroner or F1 or something.
Well, someone with a little more sharpening skill than I have can restore the edge to its former glory, I am sure. Also moving it along because the handle honestly is a bit too small for me.
Comes with the nifty little synthetic sheath.
My handiwork isn't really obvious in the pics, but yeah I did kind of bugger the edge.
Also, my photos aren't the best, I know. Any "discoloration" on the blade is reflection, not rust. Though there are some light scratches, as the knife did see some use.
Considering the travesty I committed on this otherwise pristine and very useful blade, I'm asking $45 - $44 - $43 $42 shipped CONUS.
Next up is [SOLD, funds pending] a used Spyderco Paramilitary 2. I am not the original owner. Knife is in excellent condition. I purchased this one here because I was missing the one I'd sold a couple of years ago, thinking it was just a bit too large for my needs. Guess what? While I really like the PM2...it's still just a little large for my needs, and I can't afford knives (even cool ones) I'm not going to use. Previous owner sharped it on a Wicked Edge or Edge Pro, and has a nice better than shaving sharp edge on it with the mirrored bevel, which I think is pretty sweet. Lockup is tight, with no vertical or lateral blade play. The thing opens smooth as butter. Gotta like the compression lock.
Note: some dust and smudges on the blade, no scratches. This knife is in excellent condition. Just a bit too big for me to carry around as an EDC.
Asking $105 - $100 - $95 $90 shipped CONUS.
Buy the Fallkniven and Spydero both for $128 shipped CONUS.
I also have for sale a Utilitac II. This is the...well, it's not a tanto, guess I'd call it a drop-point blade, rounded handle model. The blade is marked, very subtly, thankfully, "Collector's First Production Run." Yeah, whatever. Anyway, I'm the second owner, knife is in very good condition (I'd give it an "excellent" but for a slight scratch on the blade only visible from certain angles"), lock up is at about 50%, no vertical or lateral blade play, and blade has a good edge on it. Nice little knife. For the price, these are hard to beat. But, like the PM2, a bit larger than I need. I'd like to move this along to fund a Zancudo or Rat 2.
Asking $20 shipped CONUS. Or $15 if you buy the Fallkniven or Spyderco.
Or take all three $140 shipped.
First "I'll take it" in the thread gets it. PM me with any questions.
