For Sale is my 12/12/9.3x74R Sauer and Sohn side lock drilling with a side rifle cocking lever and a tang safety. It has a steel trigger guard and a round knob grip. I'm not sure whether the butt plate is bakelite or horn. The barrels are about 26 1/2 inches. The gun weighs about 7 1/2 pounds without the scope, but feels lighter to me. The stock finish is really nice and the case colors are still vivid. The rear trigger fires the rifle barrel and has a pretty light pull.

I have only fired three rounds through this gun because I reinjured my right shoulder just after I purchased it but before I took it to the range. The first shot went low, I flinched so badly on the second and third shots I missed the paper, so I can’t say how well it shoots, or how the shotgun patterns. I should have stopped after the first one.

The scope is a Jenna 4X that is clear and sharp . It has the thicker cross hairs and post with finer wires. It attaches with a set of QD rings that go on and off smoothly and lock up tight. The cross bars of the rings are half round and when you turn the levers to lock it in place, the round side goes into a groove. Seems plenty solid for the 9.3 and heavy shotgun loads. There are wear marks where the feet on the inside edges of the scope rings go on and off their bases and have rubbed the rib. I checked the scope with my colminator and it moved in a grid pattern as I moved the windage and elevation knobs.

The only thing I can find that is wrong with the gun is a little screw that is buggered on the front of the rear scope base. I can't figure out what it does or why it's there, but it is and it is buggered.

After another session with my Orthopedic Surgeon, it looks like I won’t be able to shoot any serious recoiling guns for a sometime. Somebody needs to take this one hunting.

I will part with it for $3900 plus shipping and insurance. I only have reloads for this one, so I can’t offer any ammo. I can include some brass and dies, if the buyer is interested.

I would be prefer a cash sale, but I would be open to some trades as part of the transaction. Some of my current interests are a Ruger SP101 327 with a 4.2 inch barrel, a Ruger Mini 14(preferably one of the 2005 year stainless laminate models), a wood and blue Ruger 77/44 RS, maybe Ruger P series pistols other than the P94 40, or maybe a shotgun suitable for clays shooting, but I might be open to others.

Thanks for looking
