I like guns I reload I like to shoot. I have Sig's, S&W, Kimber, and a few other countries. I bought a Ruger SR 1911 it's accurate but likes to FTF no matter what ammo, what's up with that? Is their a solution or should I just send it back, thanks

welcome too the Forum..."fail to feed" or "fail to fire" ??? if stainless steel and brand new could just be burrs, take it to where you bought it, we always checked out and stood behind all the guns we sold in our shops......then it can fall back to the 'factory' good luck....cannot see or tell over the internet, gotta have it in our hands, lots of 'variables' with a semi auto, you covered one with saying "any ammo...." ;)

Thanks, I bought it yesterday shot 50 rds today 5 failure to feed but not stovepipe. I really like the gun and how it handles I hope it's an easy fix. I have a friend who is a riflesmith I'll have him look at it before I send it back, thanks for your advice ✌️

Try different ammo.
Try different mag.
Make sure you're not limp wristing it.
Have someone else shoot it to see if they have same problem.
Is the gun wet enough?
