I'm looking for a "Six Series" revolver in SoCal within driving distance, say about 30 miles of Seal Beach. I have cash, a very nice S&W Model 14-4 ("K-38 Masterpiece") w/box and accessories and factory and Herrett's "Shooting Star" grips, and an exc. example of Ruger's original work of genius, a Ruger Standard 4 3/4" .22 auto in stock condition with two factory magazines.

If you have a Security Six. Service Six, or Speed Six for sale or for trade on one of the above guns (the Standard would of course come with some cash for "boot"), let me know exactly what you have by email to my address [email protected]. Only "Six" I'm NOT interested in is a 9mm (have one).

Let's talk, but DON'T make me explain why this has to be a SoCal only deal....the relevant CA gun law makes me mad and I don't need any more blood pressure.

Seal Beach is a great town. Vacationing there for the winter. I have one of these at home but getting it across the border is impossible. Good luck with your search. And, if you think the regs are onerous in California, be happy you do not live in the Liberal Republik of Canada! David

After 3 months of looking, I found a really excellent 4" stainless 1976 "Liberty" Security Six .357 with two Ruger OS grips (one in the original factory wrapping) and a pistol rug.
