I broke the primer catcher on my RCBS JR2 press today. If anyone has an extra one to sell I would like to buy it. New ones are available from Midway for ten bucks, but they're plastic. I would pay more for a metal one. It's the same as the ones on JR. and Ruck Chucker presses.

Thanks.

If you can't find one I'm sure you could order one from rcbs pretty cheap.

RCBS will probably send you one for free. They back up all their products.

They're sending me a Universal Primer Arm 2 that I've owned since '77 and broke. Just fill out their form online with what broke and your email address. It will take them several days for them to get back to you via email. Their reply to me:

(Cholo), it has been ordered for you under warranty. Have a great weekend and enjoy your reloading.

I've got an extra metal one, but the spring that went between the posts to hold it on is missing. I'll send it to you for $20.00

Cholo, where did you find the warranty form? The warranty info on their website states that I must send the part back for inspection along with a dated proof of purchase (which I don't have, because the press was given to me by a friend).

I'm glad you found what you needed. I just went to the RCBS main page and clicked "Ask RCBS" and filled out the short form here: www.rcbs.com/general/ask.aspx

My new primer arm arrived today along with brand new small and large primer cups, stems and springs. I call that great service!

Mine is 44 years young, no chance that I would still have the receipt. I have almost never used that primer. The best primer catcher is a large bucket placed close underneath the press.
