PS Just for info . . . I'm pretty sure Lett's didn't make the rubber part, just the wood inserts.

I emailed Ruger asking them to check the warehouse and backordered one from midwayusa. I find it odd that there are enough original security/service six wood grips on ebay to weigh down a pack mule, yet locating factory compact Lett grips are like tracking down Al- Zawahiri!

Yep, and I recently obtained a set of Security Six "large target grips" direct from Ruger for a pittance of what they used to sell for. Ya just never know.

Thanks, well I hope I found one. We'll see if Midwayusa actually receives them on the 22nd-31st of this month as listed on the site. I'm definitely not holding my breath and still on the lookut for another.
