For trade is very rare Marlin 982VS-CF bolt-action rifle in exceptional condition. It has a heavy 22” stainless bull barrel, four-shot and seven-shot detachable magazines, and an extra Marlin OEM laminated thumbhole target style stock that free-floats the barrel. While Marlin is generally known for budget-minded rifles when it comes to rimfires, this one is high quality and well put-together. I’m the original owner and bought this many years ago but only got it out a few times and it’s been in my safe for years. I thought I’d list here as “for trade” to see if there would be any interesting offers. I’m looking for a stainless centerfire rifle in bolt-action or No.1 or a new Ruger-built Marlin lever action in stainless. I’m in Central FL in case anyone wanted to meet up. This is a pretty gun, so naturally hoping to trade for something in equally nice condition and well-cared for. I don’t mind offsetting the trade with cash.
