For Don Lovel

One time I was at William's Motors, in City of Industry, an old aircraft engine shop where the Satan's Slaves and HA bikes were built.
My room mate at the time was having a 52 Panhead redone by them. I was standing in the shop doorway smoking a cigarette and about 10 bikes came rolling in, all Knuckleheads, all being ridden by what looked like the Nursing Home 1%.
Many of them were there back in the day. I really wish I had a picture of that bunch, they were not scary looking, they were very old school cool looking.

The world of "patch over" has made it all too weird, too violent, to unpredictable
In the old days, if you got along with one of your local neighborhood guys, it was actually fun and the stories I got to listen to about Korea, Vietnam, street fights, bar fights, hillclimbs, long ironbutt runs, etc. I do miss those days. I honestly owe those guys, especially Monterey Pops and Moldy Marvin for keeping me out of trouble when I was too young and stupid to do so on my own.
That said, especially in modern times, being part of criminal stuff is NOT cool and disrespect for the Old School rules is intolerable.
