We got our first snow here in Mendon overnight and today. Looks like about 5" and still snowing. We are about 20 miles North of Indiana, so it is pretty much on schedule. 8)

The weather guessers really put their foot in it AGAIN. Two days ago they were talking the MAJOR snow storm and predicting 6 -12 inches of snow. It has been snowing for about six hours now and we have about an inch. The ground is still warm from the week of 50 and 60 degree weather so it is not sticking. The one thing that can change the mix is if the wind direction shifts and comes out of the southwest across the pond (Lake Michigan),... then we can get lake affect snow and that can accumulate. My bet is about 3 inches of snow,... and that will be gone by Tuesday. We have this local weather guy who sounds JUST like chicken little....

Over predicting is OK with me. Three years ago here in Central Oregon, they predicted 2 to 4 inches overnight. Over two feet of that miserable white stuff came down that night.

I'm about 30 miles NE of Grand Rapids. Have about 4"-5" on the ground. Predicted 1"-3". Dog isn't very happy.

Jackson County here, 9-10 inches. Very heavy wet stuff. Forecast for 50 degree mid-week will make things muddy.

Talked with a friend in northern California last night, poor guy had to mow his grass yesterday afternoon!

Looks like the storm took a right turn before it got here and took aim at Saginaw and below....nnnnn I am good with that. We got about 3 inches. It will be gone by Tuesday. 5ive,... due north of Grand Rapids.

The snow just started early this am in NE Ohio snow belt. I'm closer to Erie than Cleveland and 5 miles south of Lake Erie. Ground just covered. Expecting a few inches. Haven't put the plow on the Honda Rubicon yet. That only takes 20 minutes. Warmest November in quite awhile, per weather folks.

Got 16" here (SE South Dakota) on Friday. Started pretty wet, so was tough to shovel and froze hard underneath the snow. Glad I cleared it when I got home from work Friday night. Prediction was 4-6".

They LIE a tremendous amount to justify their false claims of climate change global warming. That is when they are NOT going back a couple hundred years to "adjust" the recorded temperatures LOWER.

Well, it is the warmest I can remember. Just turned 57. Not concerned, am sure one of the next few months will make up for it !

I will take your snow ! We just got power back from last Tuesdays 80 mile per hour wind storm . Lots of trees down and power lines down .Temp was in the 20s at night . We did all right , have a small generator that I was able to run the gas furnace with and keep the freezers going . But a lot of folks were INA wold of hurt . We have a major snow storm comming in tonight .

Guess the 10-12" we got here on Saturday was enough "Ice Cubes" into the lake. It froze all the way across overnight, usually do not see that until first week of December for this lake.

Well we got up this morning and the snow was all gone.

Temperature is 53° and we got some rain last night. All that is fine with me.
