Firing pin spring for #1

Long story short- used #1 in 9.3x74R, sticking firing pin, discovered no spring in place. Called Ruger, no problem until we checked the serial #, left factory as 222 Rem. Will not replace or sell me a spring. Firing pins and springs are factory only. Given that, who has replacement springs?

Its far fetched but just imagione taking that DGR into the field against a mean critter that bites and finding there was no firing pin spring!

Not sure what is going on, but I replied to this yesterday and it is not showing up. Have two on the way. Thanks Dave. Funny in that last year I was looking everywhere for this and there were none in stock. Gun Parts, Midway, Brownells…….None to be found. Guess several were in the same boat as me and the need was there.
