Federal 233 Value Pack Through Mini 14

So I just picked up a Federal 223 100 Round Value Packs at Wal-Mart for my Ruger Mini 14. I have now found that it may be FMJ boat tail. I think I heard something about boat tail doesn't shoot that accurate out of the Mini 14. Is this true? I shoot Remington UMC 55 grain out of it a few weeks ago, and got good accuracy out of it. The Mini 14 is a Ranch Rifle 582.

Shoot away with that Federal Blammo.

My Mini's have not really cared what I put in them. It all shoots well, and I have shot a lot of the Value-Pack stuff.

X2 Works fine for me, not a single problem. I do keep a couple boxes of soft points around strictly for hunting varmits.
