It's that time of year and I always like to take my camera out for a few photos. I got a nice one of my shed with some trees in the background.

A lonely Mockingbird watching the sunset from a branch.

I got this one after a rain storm a week or so ago, it's been cloudy but I have yet to see another sunset like this.

The moon has been a great subject lately.

I got these the night of the eclipse.

The daytime has given me a few good shots too.

I got this one yesterday, it appears to be a 747, but for whom I am not sure.

Very nice. The wife and I enjoyed that eclipse. It was a very nice warm night here in Southern Oregon at the time. Your pictures make me want to get back to photography, it's been a lot of years since I sold my Hasselblad, these handy dandy iPhone point and shoot aren't as satisfying to use.

Howdy David, I finally bought that Nikon I told you about. I didn't receive it until last week so am still learning the intricacies of using it. I'll post up some pics. once I get a bit more proficient with it.

Great shots. I think the bird is perhaps a Flycatcher of some sort (Acadian?, Least?) Or perhaps a Warbler in its fall drab plumage.
What kind of bird is the last one?
