- Methinks Ruger is a different type of manufacturer these days. The 10/22 magnum required a different receiver and bolt, and labor-intensive tuning (previously) which is NOT what Ruger does today. Its simply not in their business plan. Sadly, I am not holding my breath.
Maybe thompson center will produce one. I would like to see one like the tcr22
in 17 hmr and 22 wmr. Volquartsen makes them. Why not other companies?
Just my wish.
I have the TCR and it just might be a better "10/22" . faster twist, better mag, better stock sights... It is ACCURATE beyond expectations. If they hold the line, I'd buy one in 22wrfm without reservation.
Ruger just missed the market by ending the caliber in the semiauto and lever action rifles so quickly. I'd like to see the RCCA on those production stoppages. Big mistake, x2.
I am looking at the savage A22 and A17. Will know when I get my hands on one.
You tube report looks good. I agree, the tcr22 isvery good and accurate.
Several things about it I realy like.
