In the Know your Ruger 1953-63 it states there were 8 Blackhawks that were factory engraved. I was told one was presented to Col Charles Askins and was in a museum. Are the whereabouts known of the other 7?
Specifically it states SN1967 is regarded as one of Jerrods best works. Where is it? Thanks krw

#3203 .357 Blackhawk is still in the factory collection as are .44 flattop #'s 1967 and 2165
#100 .357 Blackhawk is in John Dougan's collection.
#500 and 600 .44 Blackhawks were presented to Hugh O'Brian, but reportedly stolen from his residence, so their whereabouts are currently unknown.
#225 .44 Blackhawk was presented to the President of Venezuela, Marco Perez Jimenez, but it only had the initials MPJ on the topstrap.
and #7498 was a 4-5/8" .44 flattop done up for a friend of Herb Glass. Its surprising this one hasn't turned up yet in the collecting circle, but I have a feeling there may be at least one big Ruger collector who knows where it is.
