Have been waiting for a clear night to get a decent picture of the moon. Clear as a bell tonight. Hope you like these.

Taken with a Nikon P900 off of a Slik tripod. They aren't quite as good as what I could get but it was cold and dark.

Yes thanks very much. I bet your happy with that camera!

Howdy Kevin: Yes, I'm very happy with it. I have only learned about .001 percent of what it can do. I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I use it for target shooting as well. You set it on the tripod and connect it via Bluetooth to a smart device, phone, Ipad, zoom in on the target and see perfectly where your rounds strike real time. Even at 500 yds. you can easily see a .223/5.56 hole.

I really need to spend more time with it, to learn more of what it can do.

Very good! I remember when I was about 10 years old I got a very nice telescope for my birthday. I remember looking at the moon with it and thinking to myself that no one will ever know what is up there. Less than 10 years later man was walking on it.

I read there will be a partial eclipse of the moon Wednesday night if you're interested.

I'll look into that. Judy gets very aggravated at me though. Outside at 0100 taking pictures  . I tend to have a few too many barley malts when I stay up that late :D .

how many is too many pops? Aldis has a good beer, Holland 1839 I was looking for the American flag that was left

Well, Judy's opinion that anymore then a 6 pack is excessive  . So I just buy the big cans, hey it's still a 6 pack.

I looked into the eclipse. It happens at 0648 Wed. morning. What is kinda cool is that Jupiter will be right next to it. Plus it is a different type of eclipse. Penumbral?? It just dims the moon?? I'm not an astronomer so really don't understand the nuances. If I am up I will try to get a pic.. Chances are I will still be snoozing. I tend to sleep in on my days off because I have to get up at 0400 on work days.
