Hello All,
Up for sale is my Flattop S# 7022. I bought it to shoot and honestly I'm hesitant to use it as I plan to use it. I'm no longer a collector, I figured I'd pass it along to someone that appreciated these fine arms..
Except for some blue thinning around the muzzle and the shroud where it was laying or riding in a holster. The bluing is very good and only some light handling marks. It is 60 yrs old..
It has still has the original "unsafe" hammer assembly installed.. and some time in the past it was converted to the "safe" hammer ect.. those parts are in the box.. Although I cannot find any stampings on the grip frame that some have posted ruger did after the conversion...unfortunately I do not have the original box..
It has a nice plumb color on the loading gate and the correct screws. I believe this is considered a late type 1 most likely a late 1956 . The front sight and it's base both have squiggly lines and the ejector rod is concave at the end..
I can get some better pics but this was all I had handy. I'm asking $700 shipped.. I'm in North Easter PA if you wish to do face to face.. I will be shipping it though my FFL.. Make sure you can own it all laws apply ect..
updated pics, although I feel they make it look worse than it is but I feel better knowing the new owner will know what they are getting...
