Dude, seen here keeping a watchful eye for the cat, is enjoying the mild Winter...

Dude is a great looking specimen, certainly doesn't miss many meals and just has that cat watcher look about him ! Dr.C

Great name and looks to be a nice pal you got there Ed.

The name "Dude" would incline me to go surfer with his name on occasion. Kinda like Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I bet he follows you everywhere Ed.

Dude!! Thats awesome!

I miss having a big dog. Our little dog is smaller than the possums we have around so we have to keep a close eye on her when shes outside. Heck im worried a hawk may snag her up too. Ha

Dude is a good ole dog. He's smart, gentle, and very observant.
He likes me best when I give him his Milk-bone every day. But he irritates me sometimes. In the evening we will get down on the carpet and rough house. We really get tough sometimes. But when the two grand kids jump on the pile and start beating me up he just sits and watches. But if he thinks I'm getting the upper hand he is all over me. I accuse him of liking the kids better than me and threaten to take away his Milk-bones, he doesn't care.

ED--my brother in the 1980's bought a TRAINED Dobermin- pincher he lived behind me and WARNED me about the might of his new protector---well it did look  so I obeyed and stayed clear ,it was in a fenced in yard ,well my uncle came to my house to pick up some old lumber ,his long time buddy --BEAR  a DUDE look alike was in the bed of his truck,my brothers dog got out and was in the front yard --BEAR made a swift charge and had the killer Doberman whineing on the ground--I laughed out loud, wrong thing to do :? my brother got mad  --about a year later BEAR killed a charging Eskimo dog  huge --that was right at my aunt who was taking her walk--a grab of the neck and it was over--saved my aunt from a mauling or worse---A GREAT DOG ARE THOSE LAB's :D

Two of my favorite breeds! Labs and G.Rs are such great dogs.
Nice pics.
My 12 year old pup is a combo of our departed G.R. male and a friend's yellow lab mix. What a fantastic dog!
