The two most accurate factory rifles I've ever bought, were also the cheapest.
I paid $99.99 for my Remington 788 .308. I shot that rifle in 600 yard matches until an older gentleman bought it from me to give himself a chance at something other than 2nd place.
My RAR in 6.5 CM shot well out of the box, and went to spectacular after tweaking the trigger and bedding an aluminum arrow shaft in the stock.
Neither rifle had the best fit or finish. That said, the Remington was way smoother than the RAR.
Reliability, however is connected to better fit, finish and hand work. You won't see cheap guns on DG hunts.
