If you mail your broken hand primer to lee they will make it like new for free. They did that for me about three times. The earlier cast bodies were thinner. Their top above the shell holder would crack around the perimeter. IIRC it was in the mid 1990s that they started making them thicker to stop the cracking. Also the black plastic tray's hole the priming punch passed through would enlarge and flare over time. Whatever has worn out Lee will replace for free. Just don't make the mistake of mailing back two of the same worn out part. I only got one back when I did that.
Durability aside, when I'm not using a progressive press, Lee's old Auto Prime is still my favorite way to seat primers.
