There's been a plethora of potential Darwin Nominees lately. Many are stupid people who insist on "petting the fluffy cows", feeding elk their fingers or car-surfing while the car flips over on them. This one is a definite contender for an Award, possibly posthumously:

We had a weekend field trip to La Jolla Cove for an Intertidal Ecology class in college. At that time, the North end of the beach was closed because of sea lions. I grew up along the beaches of SoCal (fishing & surfing with a little snorkeling) and have seen a sea lion bite an 18" tuna in half! Wouldn't have much trouble taking a hand at the wrist! In short: MORONS!!!!!!
