Do you know if your gun went back to have the safety conversion done? The first Single-Six we sent back to have the conversion done (just as fast as the program started and when we got the first shipping boxes), the gun returned with the extra cylinder in an orange bag (ours was also the only one that we know of that was stamped on the bottom of the frame with a miniature Ruger eagle....all other guns seen have an "R" stamp).
But...when the conversion program was started, this is also the time period when Ruger was ridding themselves of the last of their cylinder bags. Red was the common one of course for extra cylinders, and blue bags were used for shipping rings. But other colors seen at this time period were orange, brown and a hunter green color.
