Custom Springfield 1911 FS

SPF-Next on the block is my custom Springfield 1911 in 45 ACP. This one has a compact top end on a full-sized frame. The barrel is the coned type, and is a solid tight fit. The frame is a steel Springfield "WWII" that I had fitted to replace the original LW that had been damaged. The frame is cut for and fitted with a Wilson grip safety, and the frame rails were tightened by our local "real" gunsmith and the internals are all either Ed Brown or Wilson. This would be a great carry piece with the shorter slide. Those are real Novak sights front and rear. Grip panels are Hogue "Lamo Camo". -SPF
