Adirondacker
Bearcat
I bought this rifle off the forum a few months ago but have decided to sell it as I do not use it as much as I had thought I would. The information below is taken directly from the ad posted by the gentleman I bought it from. I am asking $725 shipped to your FFL. Can't tell you how it shoots as I have not shot it - thus the sale!
My sixth Ruger 10/22, but this time I wanted a tack driver… So I put this rifle together in mid 2000. I never used it beyond test firing it when completed (20-30 rounds I’d guess), never even mounted a scope on it. So it’s been a safe queen every since - the 17 rimfires became my go to RF’s.
Built from a less than 2 year old like new K10/22 22LR stainless I bought just for the action. All other parts used for the build were bought brand new.
Rifle includes:
Stainless action – serial 248-641XX (c.1998)
Auto Bolt Release
Bolt Recoil Buffer
Target Hammer (Volquartsen)
Target Sear (Volquartsen)
Whiteface Mountain Stainless .920 Fluted Match Barrel
Direct from Ken (WMRBS) from a Green Mountain blank, hand lapped, a Betz Match chamber and special target crown. Same barrel Chief AJ used then for his custom 10/22’s at the time. Not positive after so long, but I believe the chamber dimensions are: Length: 0.6900; Mouth Dia: 0.2270; Throat Dia: 0.2255
Boyds Burchell Laminated Thumbhole Stock
Almost $600 invested just in parts alone over a dozen years ago.
Somebody needs to get some use out of it, I know I never will. It should be a tack driver.
