I like those wood grips (minus the gouge of course)- far better than the funky stock plastic. Had considered getting similar on a MK1 4.5" bull bbl "target" model, a somewhat older version of the Ruger auto, only .22 auto I have owned. It was from a good friend long since passed... I see the original Ruger black logo inset on the right grip- was that original from Ruger? Obviously used but not abused- the metal shows that it was well-cared for. Thanks.

Grips are Ruger Original with their logo etc...

I had gotten the pistol with the grips as is, I would never put the gouges in myself

Gouges look worse in the picutre then in hand
