That is nice - I've had my eye on one that needs some work and I haven't been able to "pull the trigger" on the purchase. Enjoy!

I saw 3 of the 7 1/2" Buntlines at the Atlanta gun show yesterday from $575-$695. All were in very nice condition.
I paid $300 for my 7 1/2" about 8+ years ago, no box or papers. It appeared unfired, but the fit left something to be desired. Still a fun gun. I bought a 6" about 6 years ago with both cylinders and I believe I have the box for $450. It appears to be unfired. Not now :wink:
Prices are thru the roof at gun shows around here. Gone are the days I bought a 5" S&W 5 screw pre model 10 for $300 and it too appeared to be unfired.
Lots of nice guns at the show, the price scared me away though. I sure didn't see them flying off the shelves.

Very nice. You'll be happy with it. About a year ago my neighbor was moving and asked if I would be interested in an old .22 he was getting rid of. Went over to look at it ,figuring an old rifle of some type. This is what he had to offer.

Gunman, I remember once I had a really good shooting Ruger Single Six adjustable OM that my big brother really wanted. While at the gunshow one Sunday I saw a Colt NF like yours and just fell in love with it. So, I called up my brother and offered to sell him the SS so I could buy the Colt. He burned up a trail coming to get my good shooting SS off my hands and of course I bought the Colt. Come to find out, the little beautiful Colt wouldnt shoot for BEANS!!! It was TERRIBLE! That was probably 15 years ago and while that Colt has long since gone down the road my brother steadily refuses to sell me back my Ruger......

I have a 6" one that I got about 10 years ago, used of course. Came with the extra .22WRM cylinder, which had never been fired--I rapidly fixed that. I don't shoot it much because I have lots of .22s, but I keep it because its REALLY PRETTY and it fits my hands about as well as any .22 I've ever picked up.
My brother has a 4 3/4" version which is unfired and has one of the .22 WRM chambers unfinished--it just has the reamer pilot hole drilled! The .22 LR cylinder is completely finished. I wonder if this was somebody at Colt telling him which chamber NOT to load? ( He thinks this "factory mistake" makes the gun more valuable. I guess the jury is out on that until somebody tries to sell it, which won't happen in his lifetime....)

Bought a New Frontier about a year ago with both cylinders, in like new condition with the short barrel and no safety block for $400. Not a big fan of the ramp front site on them but I can tolerate it. Nice little gun, the case colors tend to fade on some of them but were still strong on mine. I figured the price on them would be on it's way up. Not many revolvers with colts name on it in that price range anymore.
