Camblock change

In simple English can I get an answer on why Ruger went away from the Swinging link? It worked exceptionally well.
Was it cost in manufacturing?
I heard one Ruger engineer state the camblock was potentially more reliable?
Say what?
More reliable than the most reliable design the world has ever seen in the P89?

Look through some of COFFEEPOTS's posts. He has discussed the reasons for the change several times. I miss his input around here. Very valuable information. I agree though, very tough to beat the P89 for reliability IMO. Especially for under 400 bucks!
