My landcruiser with 792,000 miles on it is having trouble with its horn so an employee gave me this sticker for my birthday. Dr.C

Scrapped my 1992 Corolla this month. 320,884 miles and still running great at the end. Had it about 12 years. Aside from the usual exhaust and brake parts replaced, the only issue was replacing the manifold, alternator and radiator over twelve years- all of which I did myself to save money. Bought it used for $3000. Got my moneys worth. Interestingly enough, I never replaced the starter, catalytic converter, timing belt or water pump. The engine was running great, but the body was rusting away.

You jes don't see many old cruisers around anymore. FJ62 IIRC that is the 1st year to come with fuel injection, I own a 79 FJ 40 .

My brother had a Landcruiser. Not sure of exact number of miles, but over 600K. He traded it to our cousin as part of a deal for an '05 Toyota Tundra. I asked the cousin what he did with it, said he sold it to a guy that bought them by the dozen and ships them by cargo container to Africa. Says they sell like hotcakes there.

BTW, love the bumper sticker!! 8)
