Does anyone have or have experience with the little Browning .22 autos? I saw a Belgium made one in 95% or so condition with a lockable, Browning leather case. It was a neat little outfit but seemed pricey. Auction sites look like the case is $200-$300 and the rifle is about $500. Does that seem reasonable?

Cool little package with gun serial number dating to 1963.

Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated.

I love those Brownings. Light and very accurate; with a great feed system. The older Belgium ones are a bit pricey, but should continue to grow in value. The case is a bonus when you find one original to the rifle. Get one and enjoy it 8)

They are nice. My sister has a Belgian, and I had a Japanese built one that was a real peach. I gave it to my granddaughter, and I still miss it.

Don't know about the case, but according to Blue Book $500 is an excellent price for a 95% Belgian-made model. I love mine, even though the bottom ejector occasionally throws a hot case down my shirt sleeve.

I was just going to mention that little problem.

The Browning was always too expensive for me to justify a purchase, but when I had the opportunity to buy a Norinco copy for $100, I jumped on it. External finish is very nice, internal is a little rough, but it's 100% reliable and very accurate.
