These are NOT factory take-offs. And they are stainless, not blued, not in the white. These are the ones that Midway and Brownell's sells.

So, contender gets first "refusal" followed in-turn by TDF.

For those who may not know, these grip frames do require some fitting. Not the same as a take-off.

j p, I have two more, so one is yours. Send me a private message.

I'll take one off of you. I'm making a twin to the 44 I bought off of you.

I'm sorry. I had a brain fart. I forgot that I am looking for a Hunter frame now, not a Bisley like I was before. Sorry for my confusion

I think I bought one off of you a number of years ago and fit it to one of my Single Sevens. If I only had another trigger and hammer it would be tempting to put one on my other Single Seven. I had them at one time and sold them.☹️

32shooter, you could use a Power Custom Bisley hammer and trigger (or modify a Ruger Bisley trigger). They are about the same price as sourcing a Ruger small frame Bisley hammer.

Also, your standard hammer/trigger will work just fine with a Bisley frame until something else can be sourced.

thedogdidit, I have a Hunter frame I intend to return to Midway. Nothing wrong with it. Ended up installing a Bird's Head instead. It is available.

TDF for two.

j p sixguns welldone for one.

32shooter for one.

I'm sorry but I'm too late in the game. If you don't mind, just a question. I would like to convert a Single Six to Bisley, but I don't want to have to replace the trigger and hammer too, and I'm not concerned with aesthetics. . One of your replies indicated that the Bisley frame would work. I would be replacing a XR3-red grip frame. Is that compatible? If so, if one of your purchasers changes their mind, PM me.

GypsmJim, that is right. You can use a Bisley grip frame with non-Bisley hammer and/or trigger. In your case, you can swap the grip frame without disturbing the hammer and trigger. These grip frames are pretty close. It might be enough to polish with Scotch-Brite gray and/or 600 or 800 grit sandpaper and go plinking.

I have one for you like the others above. You can have Bisley stainless grip frame #5. PM (direct message) on the way.

Pictures 1 and 2 are of the Bisley grip frames installed but NOT fitted. Notice the blue masking tape as pictured in the original post in this thread.

Pictures 3 is of NOT a fitted Bird's Head frames (not for sale).

Picture 4 is a couple of vintage KS-9 revolvers. The top gun in picture 4 uses one of these Bisley frames that is fitted (80% finished) but not yet polished.

Each individual gun and grip frame is different; your mileage may vary.

Sorry, newbie here lost track of the score on NM Bisley grip frames. Any left?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe. I have a half dozen more, but I have not decided what I need for current projects. I will keep you in mind.

Joey, sure. When I decide what to release, I will reference this thread.

In addition to Bisley grip frames, I will have some stainless Super Blackhawk (square trigger guard) in the near future as I decide what to use. Some will have the trigger opening extended to allow the use of either a Vaquero or Bisley trigger.
