I am two episodes in, it is pretty good so far.

I feel it's just a big fluff piece, BUT. I still enjoyed it.
ANY western done well is good in my book.
There are just so few of them out there.
I also enjoyed " Godless".

I was in old Lincoln, New Mexico yesterday, site of the Murphy/Dolan vs Swinney (Lincoln County) war in 1878. From the old courthouse there, Billy made his jailbreak, killing a deputy in the process and then was killed by Pat Garrett in Ft. Sumner a few weeks later.

Old church in Lincoln I didn't make any pics of the courthouse this time as I already have several. I'm just up the road in Ruidoso as I write this, enjoying the cool mountain air and low humidity -a welcome break from Alabama July heat. We used to live here, my wife's family still does.

And Paul Newman was not left handed, he had to practice hard to handle the gun left handed! Wonder if he ever knew different?

I wayched the first two episodes. It was kind of "meh" BUT I love westerns so will keep watching......fyi...that rattlesnake was pityful cgi.
